Jodie Chaytor – Bookkeeper/Office Administration
Jodie has joined Tiller Engineering Inc. as Bookkeeper and is fully responsible for the day to day accounting needs of Tiller Engineering. Jodie brings with her over 11 years accounting experience. She is also responsible for general office administration such as reporting, travel bookings and ensuring general policies and procedures in the office are followed. We are pleased to welcome her to the team!
Steve Dornan, B.Eng – Civil/Structural Engineer in Training
Steve is a Civil/Structural Engineer who, originally from Newfoundland, moved to Ontario to obtain his B. Eng at Carleton University. Upon graduation, Steve decided to move back to the east coast to continue his career as a Junior Structural Engineer. Steve has a background in pre-engineered buildings, telecoms, and is recently trained in the aerial inspecting of
towers. Steve, in his role as a Junior Structural Engineer with Tiller Engineering, is responsible for structural analysis, design, inspection and management of various projects. We are pleased to welcome him to the team!
Jarrod Evans, B.Eng. – Civil/Structural Engineer in Training
Jarrod a recent graduate of Memorial University’s engineering co-op program is a Civil/Structural Engineer with a background in buildings, telecoms, geotechnical and municipal systems. Jarrod, a trained telecoms aerial inspector, has analyzed and inspected several towers, and has experience in the analysis and design of buildings. Jarrod is familiar with programs such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, S Frame, GuyMaster, and STAAD. Jarrod in his role as Junior Engineer with Tiller Engineering is responsible for structural analysis, design, inspection and management of various projects in all sectors. We are pleased to welcome him to the team!
Robyn Dillon – Architectural Engineering Technologist
Robyn is a recent graduate of the Architectural Engineering Technology program from the College of the North Atlantic. Her education has provided her extensive knowledge on residential and commercial construction complete with all building science principles included. She has a good working knowledge of the various systems contained within a building. Robyn has strong AutoCAD skills and has worked with Revit Architecture; making her a great candidate for her position here at Tiller as a draftsperson. Robyn is responsible for the production of drawings in both the telecom and building sector including field inspections to gather required information. We are pleased to welcome her to the team!
Amanda Hogan – CAD Technologist
Amanda is a recent graduate of the Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) program at Academy Canada with 2 years of training in various CADD programs using 2D and 3D design. Amanda as a CAD Technician is responsible for the production of drawings made from field notes for communication towers: identifying structural size and placement, antenna array locations, and site layouts. We are pleased to welcome her to the team!
Adam Tiller – CAD Technologist
Adam Tiller a CAD Technologist and graduate from Academy Canada’s Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) program, has 2 years’ training experience using 2D and 3D Autocad programs. Adam is also familiar with a variety of other drafting programs including Revit, Inventor, and Microstation. Adam is responsible for the production of drawings made from field notes for communication towers: identifying structural size and placement, antenna array locations, and site layouts. He is also involved in the revision of drawings for lead engineers. We are pleased to welcome him to the team!
Vanessa Barnes – Receptionist/Office Administration
Vanessa has joined Tiller Engineering Inc. and taken on the role of Office Receptionist. She is responsible for the day to day office administration needs of the firm, as well as coordinating orientation and training activities, supporting IT, and assisting with human resources and marketing and business development. She holds a diploma in Business Administration: Human Resources Management from College of the North Atlantic, and is currently enrolled in Memorial University through distance education to work toward obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. We are pleased to welcome her to our team!
Work Term students
Tiller Engineering Inc. is pleased to welcome three new work term students; Thomas Wadden, Scott Elliott and Kristine Baillieul. Thomas and Kristine are both in the Engineering program at Memorial University and Scott is pursuing a Commerce degree also at Memorial.
